For Sale: 1960 Ford Thunderbird in Houston, Texas for sale in Houston, TX

1 of 50
Vehicle Description This beautiful 1960 Ford Thunderbird has served its time with me.
I purchased it from a dealer outside San Antonio, TX back in December of 2020.
It has been a wonderful car to work on and drive.
When I purchased the car, it came with various paperwork and service records dating back to the original owner who purchased it brand new in December 1959.
Previous records indicate an Air Conditioning overhaul in 2016, front end ball joints, bushings, tie rod ends, and sway bar links were replaced in 2013.
Power steering control valve replaced in 2012.
Any rust spots that were in the vehicle at the time were repaired in 2013.
Engine was rebuilt in 2011, along with many many other small and miscellaneous parts and accessories.
This car runs and drives great with 80,287 miles, a working after market radio mounted under the passenger side glove compartment, cold A/C, power windows, power driver seat, and an Automatic transmission.
New tires, master cylinder, all 4 drums, pads, and drum kits in 2021.
New battery in 2024.
I am letting it go due recent life events, as well as working a lot and not really having the time off I would like, to enjoy this beauty.
It has been garage kept most of its time with me.

I would be happy to work with anyone out of state to meet with a car shipper to get this to its new owner.
I encourage you to price different shipping companies that best match your needs.
This car is not without minor flaws, but would be great for someone looking for a classic beauty that runs and drives great but needs some finishing touches.
Please see the sellers notes.
This vehicle was appraised at $22,750 when it had 59,502 miles (as shown in photo).
I purchased it in December of 2020 for $24,000 from a dealer in San Antonio, TX There is a small power steering fluid leak from the Drag Link ($160 part) Driver window does not roll down.
The motor is good because it tries, but is stuck or jammed inside the door and I have not had the time to check it out.
There are minor rust spots around the vehicle that I have tried my best to capture in the photos.
Vehicle has been sitting for the last few months and carburetor could use a good tune up.
Vehicle comes with everything you see including the items in the trunk.
There is a brand new fully rebuilt Autolite 4100 Carburetor that was $700 and is included with the vehicle.
I was going to put this on the vehicle as it was the original carburetor but have not had the time.
It currently has a Holley Carb.
