For Sale at Auction: 1960 Cadillac 2-Dr Sedan in Houston, Texas for sale in Houston, TX

1 of 14
Vehicle Description Just in time for Halloween, this 1960 Cadillac S&S Coach Hearse has been transformed into a Ghostbusters:
Afterlife Ectomobile re-creation by well-known replica movie car creator Bob's Prop Shop in Dallas, TX, known for building replica cars for theme parks and museums around the world.
This is a tribute to the Ghostbusters ECTO-1 as depicted in the latest film:
Afterlife.
This car has been carefully hand-painted to simulate patina and rust in addition to having real cuts, holes and body rust areas for an authentic look like the car seen in the film.
This Cadillac features the rare side-loading suicide doors, like the one in the movie.
The top section features fully functional flashing blue emergency lights and a roof rack with exact replicas of items seen on the real movie car, such as the yellow gas bottles, electronics modules, antennas, radar and more.
A single toggle switch on the dash activates the blue lights wired to a separate battery system that will power them independently for over four hours without affecting the car's starting battery.
A second toggle switch activates the custom sound system that plays the familiar siren sound as well as the themes, songs and sound bites from the movie out of a loudspeaker mounted on the roof.
Included as part of the sale are two Bob's Prop Shop master series Proton Pack replicas, each valued at $4,000, for a total of $8,000 in added props.
These packs mount into a sliding cradle in the rear storage area, accessible through the rear door.
These amazing replica Proton Packs include all the sounds, lights and vibrations as seen in the movies, with chargers included for each pack.
This transformation started with a Texas-based car powered by a 390ci V8 engine fitted with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission.
Recently serviced; new items include all-new whitewall tires, a new battery, a water pump, a fuel tank, fuel pump, plugs, wires, a coil, a brake master cylinder and other maintenance items.
The car also has power steering and power brakes.
46,851 miles (the title reads mileage exempt).
