Vehicle Description This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air custom wagon has the correct VC VIN lettering showing that it is an actual Bel Air model and carries all the correct trim on the exterior.
Powered by a newly built Chevrolet 383ci V8 stroker engine topped with a matching painted Edelbrock Performer intake and a new Edelbrock carburetor.
The whole engine has been detailed in contrasting copper paint that stands out as soon as you open the hood.
The front of this engine is finished with a billet serpentine belt setup and topped with Billet Specialties valve covers and air cleaner and is cooled with a new aluminum radiator with an electric fan.
This engine is mated to a 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission painted to match.
Riding on a Camaro front end with multi-leaf spring rear suspension.
The roof still carries its original white paint and natural patina, while the body has been repainted in turquoise with a faux patina on the exterior.
The engine bay and interior have a base and clear coat of the same color.
The underside was sealed and undercoated with a rubberized undercoating.
The painted interior has been completely redone, with the interior floors replaced and then coated in bed liner before the new carpet and upholstery were installed.
The original seats were redone with distressed brown vinyl with double-diamond copper stitching, and custom door panels were built to complement the seats with matching stitching and aluminum trim.
