Vehicle Description Driven is excited to consign this very special 1986 Porsche Kremer 930.
Kremer Racing is a motorsports team based in Cologne, Germany, founded by racing driver Erwin Kremer and his brother Manfred.
The brothers applied their love and knowledge of motorsports to establish a racing team and garage focused on preparing Porsches for competition.
Founded in 1962, Kremer Racing would go on to play an integral role in Porsche's triumphant motorsports history-both independently and, on occasion, as a factory-backed team.
From the start Kremer helped service and build some of the fastest 911s, 914s, and 934s with a great deal of success.
And with the introduction of Porsche 935, the company would go on to gain international fame.
They did so by beating Porsche in their own back yard by winning the 1979 24 hours of Le Mans.
Kremer racing continued to build their motorsports legacy with the 935 and although primarily focused on competition, Kremer did offer performance upgrades for street cars owned by fans that didn't think their 930s were sporty enough.
Driven's 1986 930 has had all of Kremer's massaging and parts thrown at it.
The astute eye will first notice the differences in bodywork; The Kremer inscribed mirrors; RS like front bumper; the special Kremer decklid; and, the ventilated rear bumper.
On the inside there's a Kremer Racing LED Ladedruck boost gauge, power sunroof, power mirrors, and a Kremer mechanical boost adjuster.
