This striking GTS would reside in Switzerland until its late 1980's exportation and federalization in Houston, Texas through Mario's Motors by its sole, original and lifelong owner.
Years later, the Ferrari would spend time on Florida's East Coast, before ultimately returning to Houston, Texas.
The car's older lacquer paintwork (in correct color) appears glossy, with only light imperfections due to age and use (pictured).
The overall cosmetic condition is that of an honest driver with charming patina.
Original etched glass remains in place (including the tire pressure windshield decal), as well as other numerous components in stock configuration.
The cabin's seats have been treated to newer leather upholstery, while the interior remains preserved and largely original.
Currently displaying 41,180 miles, a Winter 2014 Major Timing Belt Service was performed by marque specialists Speed Works in Osteen, Florida.
This included all required belts, tensioners, gaskets, seals, filters, fluids, ignition components, coolant system, a complete braking system restoration and air conditioning overhaul.
This was followed by new tires and additional upkeep - until the Ferrari was ultimately dispatched to climate-controlled storage.
Nearly $14,000 is invoiced between late 2014-2016.
There is also visual evidence of extensive suspension restorative work completed in years past.
Coming out of storage, the 308 runs for mobility, but requires a rebuild and tuning of the carburetors and fuel system (at a minimum), prior to any road use.
This is THE 308 for those in search of an honest, carbureted, non-red, one-owner-from-new example, 28013 is available now at an exceptional value from our Houston, Texas Showroom.
