Sr Financial Analyst - Dealer Programs

SUMMARY The Sr.
Financial Analyst will 1) analyze financial information, 3) prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and 4) enforce internal controls to protect company assets.
The Sr.
Financial Analyst will also take action to enhance cross-functional coordination and expand internal communications in the GSFS Group and develop associates.
RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as the point of contact on set-up of new dealer participation program accounts.
Coordinate with Legal, Risk and Operations teams and communicate with all stakeholders' status of process through completion:
Provides 3rd party company who prepares tax return and financial statement dealer reinsurance/dealer owned warranty company information.
Communicates with dealer/sales contact to gather all information needed and uploads information to share site monthly.
Coordinates with Legal team on reinsurance and other dealer program Custodial/Trust/Funds Held account setup and prepares monthly bank balance reporting.
Prepares month-end close accounting entries as it relates to dealer program accrual and payments.
Prepares and updates all dealer program reporting for monthly settlements and quarterly/annual dealer participation payouts.
Coordinates data requirements and prepare analytics and recommendations for Dealer Advances/loans and dealer program distribution requests.
Analyze and reviews dealer statements before they are published to the Executive Dealer Portal.
Incorporates new products and/or companies in current processes as it relates to Dealer Participation Programs.
Coordinates data requirements and prepare analytics and recommendations for dealer obligor program.
Prepares and analyzes dealer profitability.
Ensure dealer program legal fact sheets for reinsurance and dealer owned warranty companies are updated accurately and timely and provided to GPW to assist in the tax return and annual statement files for those companies.
Participates in annual business planning process; provides information and assistance to FP&A as requested Participates in annual state regulatory and compliance filings for Sentruity insurance company.
Coordinates and communicates actions between the Friedkin affiliated companies.
Researches and resolves dealer participation program questions and other customer issues in an agreed upon timeframe.
Strives to satisfy customers.
Minimizes referrals to management.
Participates on continuous improvement within the team to enhance and/or streamline accounting and finance processes.
Participate in evaluation, testing, and implementation of Information Technology projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in finance, or accounting from four-year College or university; and 5 -- 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The candidate will apply technical skills to include financial analysis.
The candidate must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software (e.
g.
, SAS, SQL, and Access).
