We are looking for a Astromaterials 3D Image Processor - Intern to join our team with Texas State University.
Do you have the following skills?This is a temporary full-time role not to exceed 10 weeks.
The selected candidate will:
Process imagery of Lunar, meteorite, and X-ray Computed Tomography Astromaterials samples.
Apply color correction, white balance, sharpness, texture enhancement, etc.
processing on image data sets using digital dark room software.
Document settings and levels of all enhancements for each dataset.
Apply standardized naming conventions and metadata tags to each data set.
Adhere to existing data management protocols for moving datasets to and from the Astromaterials 3D working database.
Provide team members with feedback and review of processing results.
Perform other tasks as required.
Qualifications :
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
This position has been posted at multiple levels.
Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.
Currently enrolled at an accredited university.
Completed at least 60 credit hours.
Minimum of a 2.
8 GPA.
Completed basic digital photography coursework.
Experience working with digital dark room or editing software.
Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and as a member of a teamAttention to detail and highly developed organizational skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Photoshop, and experience working with databases.
Requisition Preferences:
Experience working with Adobe Camera Raw, Adobe Photoshop, and ImageJ.
Advanced digital photography coursework.
Familiarity with Nikon and Hasselblad digital photography formats.
