Job Capsule:

Halliburton is looking for a technology leader within our SRE organization (site reliability engineering). You will be responsible for implementing best practices, tooling, and policies to achieve SLO (service level objectives) for availability, maintainability, and deployment velocity for Landmark s suite of SaaS products. If you have experience in transforming or leading a product team from an on-prem to SaaS application and handling issues dealing with customer deployment, incident management, ensuring high availability, and customer support, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities / Expectations

  • Lead the development and implementation of effective policies, practices, and tooling to ensure all production environments meet their required SLA/SLO
  • Work with Product Support and Regional Services in the development and implementation of incident management policies, practices, and tooling to ensure all customers have sufficient 24/7 support

  • Lead efforts to continually assess, evaluate and make recommendations to management regarding the continuous improvement of the SRE organization and their practices

  • Work with Internal Audit and security teams to ensure all production environments are continuously assessed and updated with the appropriate security measures

  • Establish and report appropriate flow and performance metrics for the SRE organization

  • Grow and establish best practices for a global workforce working in multiple locations and time zones

  • Keep abreast of the latest in technology innovations and retain top talent globally

  • Participate in professional societies, promote Halliburton s cloud solutions, and provide thought leadership in digital transformation and solutions with customers

  • Create thought provoking articles and content to grow Halliburton Cloud leadership

  • Evangelize Cloud best practices and innovations into other areas of Halliburton


Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3
    years of technical support or customer support required

  • Job role contributes directly to customer value creation

  • Experience in streamlining cloud deployment processes, end user adoption, and support using appropriate tools
