Technical Sales Engineer, Structure

The Bridge Consultant is responsible for driving technical marketing, promotion and sales for our Structures products line; providing regulatory focus, technical knowledge and consultative solution development to owners, engineers and contractors in the civil infrastructure construction industry.
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with Contech s policies, values and strategies. Ensures that everyone is treated with dignity and respect providing an environment for success. Clearly communicates expectations and accountabilities for performance helping employees see the link between individual performance and department/company achievement of its strategic plan. Recognizes and rewards good performance and gives regular feedback.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cultivate and maintain professional relationships and business opportunities with current and prospective customers including specifying engineers and agencies;
Develop and execute a sales strategy with contractors and owners for our Plate, Precast, Truss, Specialty Products and Armortec products.
Operate a defined and proven marketing and sales system in a disciplined manner, striving to continuously improve in the areas of Consultative Marketing and Transactional Selling.
Develops client relationships and business opportunities in assigned area
Technical Expertise in the civil infrastructure applications of Structures product Line including Plate, Precast, Truss, Specialty Products and Armortec.
Develops both budget pricing for initial project design along with final project pricing strategy during Transactional Sales Process
Leads territory field marketing efforts directed at public agencies, DOTs, and regulatory agencies for the Structures Segments of Plate, Precast, Truss, Specialty Products and Armortec.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED
BS in Civil Engineering or related field required.

years of work experience;
Ability to communicate technical information, concepts and applications using consultative marketing skills in both a one on one environment and a formal public speaking environment.
Solid project management skills.
Must have a valid Driver s License.
Must be able to travel a minimum of 30%.
