Our Entry Level Field Service Technicians are responsible for servicing specific business system products including: black & white and color printers and copiers, facsimile equipment, document management solutions and related software. Responsibilities
Within a designated territory, visit our customers to provide repairs to our products and related software.
Perform full evaluations of the history of equipment, current condition, and estimated time and parts necessary to complete repairs or maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues as well as provide preventative maintenance on all machines serviced.
Act as a valuable technical liaison to our customers and play a key role in their satisfaction.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in an Electro-Mechanical, Engineering, or related area of study; or high school/ GED with equivalent experience
0-3 years of related experience
Electro-mechanical skills
Proven customer service experience
Ability to work independently
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a valid driver's license
New technicians participate in Canon's 7 week comprehensive training program known as Printing & Digital Imaging Foundations, you will learn the fundamentals of the electrical and mechanical systems that are integral to the office automation process, in addition to learning troubleshooting and customer service skills. On-going training and technical certification are conducted on a regular basis throughout your career as a technician.
