Responsibilities
Lead daily shift activities
Inventory and order products from produce, baked goods, dairy products, liquor dry goods, frozen products and equipment, etc.
Participate in month end inventory
Receive and check quality of food products, materials and equipment
Match purchase orders with invoices for reconciliation with accounts payable
Receive requisitions, complete and deliver product to requisitioning department
Complete requisitions for equipment
Deliver equipment shipment to cargo or from vendors/customers
Audit the kitchen for excess equipment
Generate purchase order from the computer Inventory Control System (ICS)
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storeroom
Maintain equipment in proper working order
Conduct physical inventory
Conduct weekly inspection of the storeroom to ensure daily activities are completed
Drive company vehicle and forklift
Operate forklift, baler, hand truck and pallet jack
Receive and store commercial chemicals
Perform other duties as assigned
Education
High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent required
Knowledge/Skills
Required
Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, division and percentages
Working knowledge and/or experience in Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
Ability to navigate the internet(i.e.; Internet Explorer, etc.)
Ability to learn the company inventory system
Ability to read, speak and write English
Lifting and carrying storeroom products
Receive, store, and deliver product
Pushing and pulling soda/liquor pallets with pallet jack
Able to hear paging system to respond to product requisitions and delivery of merchandise
Ability to see to operate storeroom equipment from forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, etc.
Mathematical ability to take inventories, place orders and complete requisitions
Attention to detail while conducting physical inventories and operating forklift
Work indoors under regular manufacturing environment conditions
Work in high bay freezer at 0 degrees F for a minimum of 45 minute intervals
Work with chemicals as covered by Material Safety Data Sheets
Proven past work experience with airline equipment and present your goals for the Warehouse as the Lead
Experience
One-year experience in warehouse/storeroom operation or related field required
Minimum of one-year experience in a leadership role required
Other
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
