If you love working outdoors and take pride in the appearance of your work, you'll be a great fit for our porter position. Your main goal is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for the exterior common areas in the community. You will also utilize your personable skills to respond to service requests in a manner that upholds our excellent reputation for customer service.
Responsibilities include:
Performing general repair tasks
Gardening and weeding
Cleaning windows and common furniture
Completing assigned service requests
Cleaning and removing debris from pool(s) and spa(s)
Maintaining inventory
Participating in safety meetings
Participating in monthly inspections
Participating in preventative maintenance
Communicating with customers
Requirements
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED
Pool certification is preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Janitorial experience is preferred
Knowledge of on-site property maintenance is preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
6 months experience in the janitorial field
Apartment maintenance experience is preferred
SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Able to read service requests and schedules in English
Basic oral and written communication skills
Able to adhere to set and variable work schedule, including weekends and emergencies as required
Able to adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices
Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Able to professionally interact with customers, residents, and guests as needed
Own a valid driver's license with good driving record and current automobile insurance
Able to perform work responsibilities at locations other than home property
Able to travel within major metropolitan area and may be required to attend company functions in cities other than home city requiring overnight stays
