Regional Sales Manager
Job
Summary:
The UAS Direct Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the growth and development of an assigned sales territory for all UAS new equipment. This position will prospect for new projects in the territory, work with engineering firms on bid and spec opportunities, and follow up on factory leads as necessary. This position requires a highly motivated sales professional reporting directly to the UAS Director of Sales, but will work from a home office within the territory. Strong people skills and problem solving required.
Responsibilities
Develop industrial sales territory in desired location
Build / Grow local sales and installation channels
Prospect territory for leads/ active projects
Build customer relationships with existing customers within territory
Manage service engineering visits within territory
Responsible for meeting sales and margin targets
Negotiate contracts as required
Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base
Work with marketing and product line to develop project specific sales strategies for assigned customers
Make recommendations for continued growth
Provide technical expertise in selecting, implementing, and developing competitive product applications and solutions
Trouble shoot customer problems as needed
Make customer calls and presentations and participate in bid meetings and walk-through meetings with the customer as necessary
Assess competitive system performance and find opportunities for our product solutions
RequirementsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline
High technical aptitude
5 years direct sales experience (equipment preferable)
Experience prospecting and building a territory from the ground up
Eligibility Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel 50% within territory or as needed
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is strongly preferred
Sales experience in capital equipment is strongly preferred
Filtration experience strongly preferred
Self-starter
