As this is currently a contract role, no company benefits are listed. However, the manager that this role reports to is an excellent attorney and mentor. Though a fast-paced office, this attorney maintains a positive group, gives trust to members of the group, and is known in the firm as a great person to work under.
Litigation Paralegal Role with the company:
The Paralegal is an essential position and the right-hand to the attorney being supported. Previous experience with HOA/community associations and Deed Restriction Violations is highly desired. Primary responsibilities include:
Creating, updating, and organizing status reports
Scheduling and monitoring court deadlines for attorney
Monitor requests to obtain court document filings
Review and respond to incoming mail/email
Prepare necessary releases
A Litigation Paralegal that has experience in temporary roles is desirable as this is a flexible environment and requires someone who is comfortable in that type of environment. While working at a fast pace, this team keeps the atmosphere positive and collaborative. A professional with a strong work ethic who truly enjoys their work would fit well here.
Litigation Paralegal Background Profile:
Paralegal Certification is preferred, degree is a plus
3-8 years of litigation paralegal experience
Expertise with MS Office Suite
Exposure to Deed Restriction Violations and HOA is highly desired
Established background as a contract paralegal for larger law firms is a plus
Strong ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills
