DESCRIPTION
As a member of this team you will deploy Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud infrastructures and help craft and support highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud solutions that meet business problems and accelerate the adoption of services. Assist the organization to understand and implement best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. Help execute a strategy to build company-wide mind share and broad use within the business lines. In this role you will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new ones.
Implement best practices and security concepts around advanced cloud-based solutions
Migrate existing workloads to the cloud.
Previous experience working as a systems or support engineer with a strong understanding of large scale computing solutions.
Ability to connect technology with measureable business value is critical to this role.
Ideal candidate will help make strong contributions to architecture and governance discussions.
Working knowledge of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
Customer service experience / strong customer focus
Support / Troubleshooting experience
Self-motivated with a proven track record in software / technology as relates to the corporate enterprise; who is excited about technology
Working experience with software development tools and methodologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strengths in multitasking
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies
MUST HAVES

years deploying Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud infrastructures with a deep understanding of existing AWS technologies
Demonstrated expertise: Systems administration (Linux or Windows), Networking (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing), Databases (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL), Programming / scripting (PowerShell, Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, PHP)
Technical degree required; Computer Science or Math background highly desired; Bachelor's Degree required
Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5 - 7 years' experience
AWS certification a definite plus
Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
Expertise with Load Balancing, Iperf, MTR, Routing Protocols, SSH, Network Monitoring / Troubleshooting tools
Exposure to other Cloud Services such as Microsoft Azure or IBM SoftLayer
Exposure to Virtualization (VMware, Xen, Hypervisor)
Exposure to security concepts/ best practicesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
