Territory Sales Representative/Manager Houston

In this role you will be responsible for the sale of Bosch products within a sales territory in Houston, TX calling on Automotive Aftermarket independent warehouse distributors. Products include, but not limited to: Engine management, brakes, wiper blades, rotating electric, spark plugs, filters, etc. Will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and cultivating all potential sales leads and prospects, while developing and maintaining customer relationships and brand growth. Tasks
Actively and aggressively pursue new business at the Jobber and Installer level and perform competitor changeovers.
Inform customers of special marketing programs, assist with inventory control and encourage the addition of new lines to Warehouse Distributors (WD), jobbers and installers.
Support National Account locations within the District and assist in the attainment of sales goals.
Work closely with Product Reps to effectively promote the sale of Bosch products at all trade levels.
Actively install current Point of Purchase (POP) materials at all levels of distribution.
Represent the company at technical training seminars and WD open houses promoting products and special programs.
Handle customer requests in accordance with company policy and report any special cases to the Zone Sales Manager.
Maintain files, prepare and submit calls, complete reports and other administrative work as required.
Develop and present an annual Business Plan for the District.
Attend and participate in sales meetings, conventions and trade shows
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is preferred; will consider equivalent work experience in sales
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in sales, marketing required; experience in the Automotive Aftermarket industry is preferred
Excellent verbal, written and persuasive communication skills
Independently analyze, solve problems and apply strategy in an effective manner
Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desired candidate will reside in metro Houston, TX
50% travel is required
