The Senior .Net Developer will aide in the design, development and delivery of natural gas and petroleum measurement software products. The Senior .Net Developer is expected to provide guidance in the conversion from a legacy application to a three tier architecture. This candidate will be key to establishing design decisions for technology, structure, implementation details and configuration.
The Senior .Net Developer is a professional position that requires strong interpersonal skills, interacting regularly with Senior Management and various team members.
The Senior .Net Developer will perform the following duties:
Design and develop application to convert legacy C+
applications to Winforms and/or WPF application
Develop high-level system narratives, storyboards, and user interface prototypes.
Develop system test plans, ensure software quality assurance standards are achieved, and validate that business goals are accomplished.
Collaborate with business teams to clarify requirements and business needs.
Collaborate with other developers and architects (when appropriate) to determine optimal solution architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
Complete projects/tasks on a timely basis, according to commitments made to stakeholders and management.
Troubleshoots, debugs and optimizes code to ensure performance and security requirements.
Prepare and maintain documents, flow charts and diagrams as needed to describe the program's intended functionality, the data flow, the logic used and any significant considerations made.
Generate test cases that verify that all requirements have been fulfilled.
Qualifications for Sr. .Net Developer:
Skilled in C# WinForms and/or Window Presentation Foundation(WPF) development is a must
Demonstrated ability to understand Model-View-View Model (MVVM) patterns in WPF
Experience in enterprise client/server applications is required.
Proficiency with Visual Studio 2013 and related Microsoft development environments.
Thorough understanding of design methodologies, patterns, prototyping, and client server/object oriented technologies and programming techniques.
Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team setting with close communication with others.
Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate details and impacts of complex proposed software solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders including senior leadership.
Ability to pursue tasks with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with other Web technologies such as JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, XML, XSD, and Web based applications is a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
