To complete development activities required to meet business requirements. Development activities should be completed within expected delivery dates and should adhere to all Invesco development standards. The ability to communicate with both business users and IT professionals is a must.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
--Complete all tasks related to technical analysis, building and unit testing, quality assurance, system test and implementation in accordance with the IT development life cycle.
--Analyze feasibility, requirements, design, build and test system components or amendments.
--Always conform to documentation, coding and quality standards as defined.
--Review, discuss and work within agreed timescales and feedback to project managers any variances arising as tasks are performed.
--Understand client business and make recommendations and technology suggestions to solve problems and improve efficiency.
--Understand architecture of applications in order to effectively troubleshoot problems and develop more efficient production processes.
--Be prepared to carry out business analysis tasks to ensure that the development/change meets user requirements and expectations.
--To understand various interfaces to the applications and if needed troubleshoot them
--Prepare for and support user acceptance testing.
--Perform quality assurance tests on the work of other developers.
--Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systems.
--Communicate with internal and external customers, supervisors and management using clear, user-friendly terminology (emails, phone, meetings). Assist project and line managers in producing estimates for the development phase of projects and enhancements.
--Provide On-Call support for systems based on agreed coverage timeframe.
Work Experience / Knowledge:
--Formal training in computer programming and systems analysis
--Understanding of relational database design and development life cycle principles
--Minimum of 5 years of proven systems development experience using structured methods
--Knowledge of or strong desire to learn capital markets and investment performance and risk concepts
--Working experience on Agile/Scrum is a plus
--Experience in working with global project teams
--Desire to stay abreast of new development tools and methods
Skills
REQUIRED
--Languages: C#, VB.NET
--Frameworks: .NET 3.5 (and higher), ADO.NET, Windows Forms, WCF, WPF, EF
--Database: T-SQL/PL-SQL (SQL Server/Oracle) with abilities to tune application/queries for optimal performance
--Source Control: TFS
PREFERRED
--Experience with web development: ASP.NET, Web Forms, Web API, XML, XSD, ASP, JavaScript, HTML
--Experience with Perl and/or Python
--Experience with or strong desire to learn Invesco standard tools: Autosys, Informatica
--Experience with unit testing/TDD
--Experience with reporting/BI solutionsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
