The Webmaster's role is to coordinate the planning, maintenance, and accessibility of website content in a way that ensures the consistency of the website's look and feel. This position is also responsible for creating some original website content. An understanding of a variety of Web development languages is required. The Webmaster's primary goal is to be responsible for maintaining and developing an internet image that projects high visibility to the educational and professional community.
Experience:
--Advanced design experience as associated with web development
--Comprehensive experience with all aspects of website content management including sensitivity to browser compatibility issues
--Hands-on experience with web-database integration and a range of database platforms
--Prefer 2-4 yrs experience with Sharepoint 2007/2010 Administration, Designer, Workflow and Webparts.
--Experience producing end-user and technical documentation.
Education/Certification:
--Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
--Certification in Associate Webmaster Professional (AWP) and Certified Web Professional (CWP) preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
