The EMR Analyst supports and maintains the clinical applications. They work to continually improve electronic medical records, billing, scheduling and lab systems through upgrades, expansion, and other ongoing development using third party applications. The EMR analyst serves as a liaison between the application vendors and users of the clinical systems, as well as, provides backup support to business applications. Customizes existing system reports and develops ad-hoc reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must maintain expert knowledge of technology applications used for delivery of client care.(eClinical Works, and Centricity.
- Under general direction analyzes and recommends automation opportunities in healthcare service deliver process.
- Must have broad knowledge of information technology disciplines and an in depth knowledge of application software and database management.
- Devises or modifies procedures to improve healthcare delivery.
- Must be able to work with all staff levels to identify automation opportunities, define detail requirements, discuss technical impacts, develop documentation and training materials and provide client care staff with technology training.
- Consults with clients in the use of technology including client care delivery applications and general desktop software.
- Analyzes complex healthcare delivery procedures and recommends technology based process improvements.
- Analysis must consider staff, client, service delivery, technical capabilities, legal ramifications, rollout plan and cost/benefits.
- Designs solutions for healthcare delivery automation processes.
- Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and
- operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external check and controls, and outputs.
- Analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
- Develops and maintains work plans outlining steps and timetables for solution development.
- Designs and creates screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
- Plans and participates in acceptance testing of technology solutions.
- Writes and maintains documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
- Creates documentation for end users of technology solutions.
- Trains end users or technical support staff to use solutions.
- Installs and tests programs at client site.
- Monitors performance of programs after implementation.
- Works with software vendors to resolve issues with purchased software and as a liaison with software vendors to keep informed of planned software changes.
- Familiarity with HIPPA security measures, meaningful use requirements.
- Participates in Saturday IT Support rotation schedule.

- Experience with Crystal Reports, SQL based database, application development tools.
- Ability to shift priories based on changing needs.

- Transportation and ability to travel to other sites in Houston and surrounding areas.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
