Job Description Global Management Consulting Firm seeks a Big Data Systems Administrator.
Job Description Data and Analytics professionals define strategies, develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, processing and management of information from one or more sources, and the subsequent delivery of information to audiences in support of key business processes.
Big Data Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses to determine solution and on complex problems.
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with.
Decisions often impact Manages small teams and/or work efforts Basic
Qualifications:
-Minimum 1 year managing, tuning and sizing either a Hadoop or Cassandra (DataStax) cluster in an operational environment -Minimum 1 year of Scripting -Minimum 1 year of knowledge with OS and Infrastructure (Cloud and On-Premise) -Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree Preferred Skills:
-Full life cycle development -Minimum 1 year of Unix experience -Industry experience (financial services, resources, healthcare, government, communications, high tech) -Experience leading teams Professional Skill Requirements Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Desire to work in an information systems environment Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Click here to apply.
