Data Center professionals:
Develop and deliver strategies and solutions for housing and managing the computer systems and communications infrastructure - including Servers, databases, storage devices, etc.
- that handle the data necessary for enterprise operations.
Set strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
Interact with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
Have latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Basic
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with large-scale data center facility design, strategy, and best practices.
Ability to perform infrastructure discovery assessments, and transformation strategy.
Working knowledge of server, storage, and network architectures.
Server Platform Technologies (Windows, UNIX, and Linux- HP/IBM/VCE/FlexPod, etc.
) skills.
Storage Platform Technologies (SAN/NAS) including Hardware & Software (EMC/NetApp/IBM/HP etc.
).
Server and Data Center Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modelling.
Data Center/Server Operational Components (Monitoring, Management, etc.
).
Asset Management (Experience with tools/process) Facilities Management (Power, Cooling, Cabling Topologies, etc.
).
Program and project management expertise.
Sales/engineering support for technical proposals.
Professional Skill Requirements Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Desire to work in an information systems environment.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Working knowledge of project and financial management.
