RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with company client network to define system requirements Architect/implement Databases, Data warehouses and BI solutions around high volume enterprise applications Participate in Industry communities Building and leading a local BI team in Houston Working with Microsoft and other BI partners to define go-to market strategy Partner with Sales to pursue new opportunities Grow company BI brand in Houston REQUIRED SKILLS Bachelor's degree BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or relevant experience 5 years of hands on experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and Analysis Services 3 years of hands on experience working with Integration Services or other like ETL tools 3 years of hands on experience with Reporting Service Experience with SharePoint, Performance Point, Excel Services, PowerPivot and Power View Proven experience with SQL and advanced database topics including:
performance tuning, partitioning, data warehousing, server maintenance Strong understanding of OLAP database/cube architecture, Normalization & Data mining, MD Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel DESIRED SKILLS Working knowledge of Oracle Previous experience with Cognos or Hyperion or other BI technologies Understanding of OOP methodologies Understanding of the.
