Job Description:
Data Center professionals:
Develop and deliver strategies and solutions for housing and managing the computer systems and communications infrastructure - including Servers, databases, storage devices, etc. - that handle the data necessary for enterprise operations. Provide solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Set strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility. Interact with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters. Have latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
Basic
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience with data center rationalization, consolidation, relocation, migration, and/or optimization of the infrastructure within (server, storage, and network). Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Skills:
Planning and executing large-scale data center consolidations, relocations, and migrations. Experience with large-scale data center facility design, strategy, and best practices. Ability to perform infrastructure discovery assessments, and transformation strategy. Working knowledge of server, storage, and network architectures. Holistic understanding of all data center functions (production operations, change control, DR/Business recovery, helpdesk, systems management, and facilities) with a focus on server, storage, and database technologies. Experience with server and storage virtualization. Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration consideration. Server Platform Technologies (Windows, UNIX, and Linux- HP/IBM/VCE/FlexPod, etc.) skills. Storage Platform Technologies (SAN/NAS) including Hardware & Software (EMC/NetApp/IBM/HP etc.). Server and Data Center Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modelling. Data Center/Server Operational Components (Monitoring, Management, etc.). Asset Management (Experience with tools/process) Facilities Management (Power, Cooling, Cabling Topologies, etc.). Program and project management expertise. Sales/engineering support for technical proposals.

Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Desire to work in an information systems environment. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Excellent leadership and management skills.
