Trust Asset Management (TAM) is the investment arm of NorthStar Memorial Group formed in 2009

Investment Financial Analyst for our Home Office in the Galleria area of Houston
This position will provide support to Senior Management on cross-business projects at TAM such as investment portfolio management, real estate project management, financial analysis and risk management
It requires the ability to balance multiple projects across vastly different functions under tight deadlines
Support portfolio management and investment reporting, including performance attribution analysis, monthly fact sheet, investment memorandum and compliance package
Analyze, underwrite and manage private real estate investments and private real estate development projects
Coordinate with real estate consultants, vendors and portfolio managers to plan, execute and monitor different real estate investment projects
Create and maintain investor presentations and provide support for other marketing efforts
Perform market research and quantitative analyses to support the investment committee in the decision making process
Use quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze investment risks
Create trade files, maintain trade capture and reconciliation processes
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager
2-5 years experience of investment banking, private equity, real estates, consulting, financial services or asset management Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience in real estate project managements, including permit application, construction and real estate development, project financing a plus Strong understanding of financial markets and data analysis, including cash flow model and DCF analysis, investment risk & return metrics, and real estate valuation
Understanding in financial options, time series models and backtesting a plus
Undergraduate degree with majors in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering and/or accounting
Must have graduated with GPA of 3.5 or higher

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
