Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of data management processes and procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of our business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform our business strategy.
- Work closely with various teams across the organization, including IT, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure that data is being collected and used effectively.
- Develop and maintain databases, data systems and data models, ensuring that they meet business needs and comply with relevant regulations.
- Conduct data quality audits regularly to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our data.
- Train and support other team members in data management and analysis techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in data analysis and management.
- Advise on the potential implications of proposed business decisions, based on data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or data management, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of data management principles and techniques, including data modeling, data cleansing, and data governance.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of the energy sector, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Proven experience in data entry, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
