As Occupational Health Lead - Nurse Practitioner, you will be trusted to provide nursing services and first aid to employees or persons who become ill or injured at work facilities and industrial plants at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX! In this role, a typical day will include:
Maintaining appropriate clinical standards and following the guidelines established by the Company policy and procedure manuals. Ensuring that all aspects of care have respect for personal values and beliefs and are focused on the individual needs of each patient. Eliciting and reviewing information about the patient's medical history. Ordering or completing various tests, analyses, results, reports, and diagnostic images to deliver information on a patient's condition promptly to determine appropriate treatment and follow-up. Coordinating or prescribing treatments and medications appropriate for the patient's condition. Promoting health by educational instruction as well as advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for the prevention of disease. Ensuring all entries into the medical record whether electronic or on paper are legible, complete, dated, timed, and signed with appropriate credentials. Participating in department quality improvement activities, and staff educational programs, attending departmental meetings, and demonstrating and maintaining clinical competency in the delivery of patient care services by Company guidelines. Participating in Peer Review and Chart Audit processes as designated by the Medical Director. Maintaining collaboration with the physician to resolve issues outside of their scope of practice. What you'll bring to Alcon:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6yrs; M.S.+0 yrs.) The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English. 2 Years of Relevant Experience 1 Year of Demonstrated Leadership Work hours:

Nursing Degree or related field preferred Experience as a Registered Nurse Current active state Registered Nursing license:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
