Job Description
This position can be based in any of our Texas offices.
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
Working on transportation systems planning, travel demand forecasting, traffic analysis, safety analysis, traffic engineering, and transportation policy.
Conducting safety analysis including systemic safety analysis and developing crash modification factors and safety performance functions.
Performing as a subject matter expert, planning and developing projects concerned with unique or controversial problems, which have an important effect on major CDM Smith programs.
Devising new approaches to problems encountered and coordinating various technical aspects of work.
Leading teams as a project technical leader on multiple projects.
Serving as a mentor for junior-level employees and acting as a recognized leader of technical and professional staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline. Professional engineering (PE) license.
10 years of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with traffic operations, managed lanes concept development, corridor planning, and environmental process exposure.
VISSIM software experience.
Ability to develop concepts/schematics.
Knowledge of TP&P/TxDOT processes.
Knowledge of data analytics and statistical analysis.
AICP, RSP, and/or PTOE are a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
