(SEL-ES) seeks a professional, innovative, and detailed individual for our Engineering Manager position in Houston, TX.
As an Engineering Manager, a typical day might include the following:
Owning the performance of an Engineering Services branch or group in conjunction with SEL strategic objectives, ensuring that cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.
Owning team development and long-term strategy in the branch or territory.
Leading and developing multiple engineering managers, supervisors, and individual contributors to meet the goals of the organization.
Leading and presenting at meetings with internal stakeholders, business partners, and customers.
Applying extensive knowledge of technical principles to forecast new technologies and provide technical direction.
Modeling, teaching, and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

S.
in Engineering field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
You have strong technical expertise in multiple engineering disciples/technologies.
You have 10
years of related engineering and management.
You have a proven ability to lead the design/support of successful projects/processes.
You are capable of managing complex business process problems requiring creativity and ingenuity.
You have a strong desire to develop employees and lead projects.
You are able to define general approaches and specific solutions to technical problems.
You are able to exercise latitude when determining and initiating work assignments.
