DutiesThe Registered Nurse (RN) in the intensive care unit (ICU) is an expert in providing, directing, or influencing the are of critically ill patients, their families and significant others in a variety of settings. The ICU RN is a highly skilled professional who is responsible for ensuring that all critical care patients receive optimal care. The ICU RN provides comprehensive nursing services independently or collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff and interdisciplinary teams. Through administration, education, research and theory-based clinical practice, the ICU RN advances the health care of the critically ill. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to adult and geriatric patients in the critical care environment. The individual' must possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs, providing care as needed as described in policies and procedures. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
