Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Data Scientist Advisor role with our energy client.
As a Data Scientist Advisor, you will be responsible for performing coding for data analysis, conducting statistical analysis, creating data visualizations, and providing data analytics expertise for a diverse set of problems ranging from production automation, drill/completion, back office and dashboard generation and deployment.
This is a hybrid role, with the majority of work being located in downtown Houston, TX, but with flexibility for 15-20% travel outside of Texas.
Must be authorized to work in US without sponsorship.
Qualifications Must have 7
years of data scientist experience Must have oil/gas experience Data Science, Statistics, Data Visualization and Data Analytics skills Must have experience with management of large datasets Experience in conducting statistical analysis Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong programming and coding skills (Python, R, SQL, C++) and data mining Strong communication and excellent presentation skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
