You would greet our patients, sign them in, record relevant data and information, and perform various other tasks like:
make appointments, answer the phone, confirm the arrival of personal optical products for patients, take payments and balance the books at the end of the day.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and an eagerness to assist patients, meets their needs and answer any questions they may have.

Receptionist Job
Responsibilities:
Here are some of the tasks and responsibilities at which you will be trained to excel.
Greeting, welcoming, and directing patients appropriately.
Notify Teamsters when patients arrive and the reason for the visit.
Monitor telecommunications and office communication systems.
Answer patients questions, calls, and emails, and provide them with the relevant information.
Take payments by credit card, or bill medical insurance appropriately.
Monitor office flow and make sure bottle-necking or wait times are as short as possible.
Organize the reception area while complying with office procedures, rules, and regulations.
Learn the verbiage used in Eyecare industry and be able to answer patients questions about conditions and procedures.
Keep a record of office supply inventory, sign for deliveries and distribute accordingly.
Work Hours and
Benefits:
We happily offer our services Monday through Friday 9AM to 6PM with 1 hour lunch break; Saturdays are from (AM to 1:
30 PM.
You have 1 day off per week, but you are required to work Saturdays.
You will be paid overtime if we work longer hours than scheduled.
You get 7 paid sick days per year, 1 paid week vacation in your first year and all federal holidays are paid time off.
This is a full-time position that allows for growth and learning the optical eyecare industry.
Receptionist Qualifications and Skills:
Strong communication (Spanish is a plus) and organizational skills.
High level of professionalism and courtesy Excellent time-management skills Works well with others and can multitask.
Proficient computer and typing skills Great attention to detail, obvious workplace happiness and enthusiasm Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
