AkzoNobel Job Purpose Warehouse Specialist executes assigned warehouse tasks in accordance with procedures, to ensure the right levels of HSE, Quality, Service, efficiency, and costs.
The Warehouse Specialist evaluates and assists in the logistics control of finished goods, raw materials, and work off inventories.
The Warehouse Specialist is also responsible for tracking and correcting discrepancies for inbound and outbound transactions maintained in SAP.
Key Responsibilities Takes ownership of warehouse/production assets and ensures they are operated safely and as per established procedures, guidelines, and industry good practice Performs daily warehouse/production-, preventative maintenance-, process data collection, and administration tasks as per procedures and control systems.
Reports safety, quality, or other issues related to products or production processes to the Team Leader / Shift Supervisor.
Ensures all warehouse/production targets are met while ensuring the appropriate quality standards are maintained.
Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, Billing, Accounting & QC to correct problems with inventory variances in SAP.
Responsible for coordinating Cross Country Logistics processes in the NAM (North American) Region within SAP Systems.
Attends and contributes to meetings.
Review and correct Variance Analysis problems identified by Accounting and Procurement.
Participates in Continuous Improvement activities & programs for HSE, Quality, ALPS or other as may be assigned from time to time.

Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other relevant discipline) with Degree or equivalent experience Focused on results Experience in working in a high-tempo warehouse atmosphere & Experience in manufacturing Knowledge and experience using SAP proficiently Total Compensation The hourly range for these skills is $19/hr to 23/hr
