JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1) Must have an active TWIC card.
2) Must have a valid Drivers License and/or State ID.
3) Must be willing to work outdoors 100 %.
4) Must be willing to travel to our other locations.
(Corpus Christi, Houston and/or Lake Charles) We do provide per diem, the room and travel pay! GSM Recruitment Team Responsabilidades:
Reports to Gang Foreman.
Prior Longshoreman experience preferred.
Works outside on terminal or in ship.
Communicates verbally or uses hand signals.
May instruct Yard Hustler Drivers on specific location to line up Yard Hustler in order for the crane to be able to load or offload the container.
May be required to communicate via hand held radio.
May be required to handle tools and/or lashing materials.
May engage and disengage automatic locks (13 lbs.
) which are set in between the containers to hold in place during transport and place in gearbox.
May be required to place or remove dunnage including but not limited to under blades, buckets, or other attachments that would rest on transport surface.
Must remain clear of moving tracks and attached equipment.
May use push broom to sweep discarded materials to designated area.
May place ISO fittings.
May be required to hook and unhook lifting gear.
Must not be afraid of heights.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
