The Provider Network Specialist processes credentialing and re-credentialing applications for health care providers.
Review, verify, and assist with credentialing applications.
Tracks license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals.
Ensures medical staff members maintain current credentials and licenses to work legally in their field or specialty.
The PNS sets up and maintains provider information in Clay Consulting's credentialing database system.
Responsibilities:

Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time with reasonable accommodation.
Credentialing and re-credentialing providers within clinics in which they hold staff privileges.
Apply for and renew all provider licenses annually.
Maintain accurate provider profiles on CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and CMS databases.
Complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications to add providers to commercial payers.
Complete revalidation requests issued by government payers.
Work closely with the billing department to identify and resolve any denials or authorization issues related to provider credentialing.
Answering office phones to assist with credentialing or travel requests or direct them to the appropriate individual.
Manage travel arrangements for providers traveling to and from various clinics.
Manage PracticeSuite upkeep and maintenance.
Create and update records (provider schedule and availability), ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
Manage and upkeep required OSHA, HIPAA and other trainings for medical staff as required by Clay Consulting.
Keeping documents, records and files organized.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills:
High School Diploma or GED Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Preferred Two years of credentialing work experience Proficient in Microsoft Office365 Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Detail oriented with above average organization skills Ability to properly maintain confidential information Plans and prioritizes to meet deadlines What We Offer:

00 - $52,000.
00 Monday - Friday day shift! No nights or weekends.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
