We are looking for reliable and energetic individual(s) to fill the role of a Professional Dog Walker/Dog Sitter.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to provide a safe and enjoyable walking/sitting experience for dogs of all sizes and breeds.
It is inparitive that you are experenced in this type of work.
Vetnarian Assistance, Grooming, and Trainers experence are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Walk/Board/ and care for dogs of various breeds and sizes in a safe and controlled manner.
Ensure the well-being, happiness, and safety of each dog in your care.
Maintain control of the dogs during walks and overnight stays, using positive reinforcement techniques.
Keep accurate records of each walk, including the time, distance, and any noteworthy behaviors.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets, including any concerns or special instructions.
Follow established routes and schedules, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
Report any health or behavioral concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Target Start Date January 1, 2023
Qualifications:
Previous experience with dog handling, walking and care is a requirement.
Must have a genuine love for animals and a strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds confidently and safely.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
Physical fitness and the ability to walk multiple times per day in various weather conditions.
Reliable transportation is a plus.
Market Square Park in Downtown, Houston has a full service dog park adjacent from where you or you and your partner will be living in a 1976 sq ft 2.
55 bedroom, 2.
5 bath, furnished condo alone.
You can Google Market Square Park dog run then Market Square Tower, because this is where you will be living! You must be computor literate, able to learn and operate industry software.
Training will be provided.
Must have great communication skills able to deal with dog parents.
