Many of these documents include confidential and essential company or employee information, so the document specialist makes sure they're only accessed by people who hold the proper permissions.
They often use a records system to input, edit and review various company documents.

Responsibilities:
Reviewing company regulations and requirements to create documentation that meets the organization's needs before distributing them to employees.
Collaborating with various employees and department heads throughout the company to ensure they complete and submit all necessary documentation correctly and on time.
Serving as the main contact when retrieving specific documentation and answering any employee questions about documentation correctly and on time.
Staying informed on changing regulatory requirements and updating documents accordingly.
Analyzing various data sets submitted in documents Handling short-and long-term storage of important company data and information.
Participating in regulatory inspections and internal audits.
