About the Job We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Content Development Specialist to join our Store Training Team.
This person will assist in the design and implementation of high-impact learning and development programs.
In this role you will partner closely with Field leadership and Subject Matter Experts to document training content into an interactive storyboard format and will act as direct point of contact for our learning management system (LMS).
This position reports to the Sr.
Manager, Store Training and is based in Houston, TX.
What You'll Do Key Accountabilities Deliver store training framework strategy that addresses workforce capabilities, skills and competencies needed to support current and future strategies.
Facilitate approaches and tools for building the overall effectiveness and well-being of our employees through engagement efforts, retention strategies, team development, and culture efforts, as needed.
Participate in design and execution of scalable and consistent individual contributor and manager experiences through the creation and delivery of learning journeys that promote development and engagement.
Evaluate and measure reporting to determine the effectiveness of training.
Design, develop and implement learning strategies that include solutions to address specific organizational gaps and development needs.
Manage through organizational change initiatives, identifying opportunities for on-time training interventions and new leader enablement tools.
Participate in creating an agile enterprise-wide learning culture through the design and implementation of training deliverables, from learning objectives to modalities to tone.
Serve as the train the trainer facilitator across store training initiatives.
Co-manage the Store Training SharePoint page.
Act as direct contact for LMS vendor.
Stay current on developments and innovations in training and education in our industry so that Tailored Brands' training continues to evolve.
Lead and support other individual and team projects and initiatives as needed.
What You'll Bring Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Communications, Management, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 5
years of L&D experience, preferably in the retail industry, required.
Strong training and content design, facilitation, and presentation skills required.
Understands adult learning theory and basic instructional design concepts; can apply concepts for maximum audience engagement and effectiveness; can measure learning outcomes and business results; Can roll up sleeves and design/contribute.
Uses data and insights to craft meaningful and professional executive-level communications; Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Has strong interpersonal skills; Leads by example; Enjoys working with others in a collaborative, social environment; Effective at building and maintaining strong relationships Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing environments.
Positive, proactive approach to problem-solving Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to successfully drive initiatives in a matrix environment and work with all levels of the organization.
Possesses superior verbal and written communication skills and excellent proficiency in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered.

$59,700-$99,400 we take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary.
Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
