Summary:
As a Garia warehouse material handler each day may bring new opportunities.
The desired candidate should be self-motivated and a hands-on individual with experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving.
and an openness to learn new skill and help the team in general operationals.
You will be responsible for coordinating all activities with the Warehouse Coordinator and Branch Service Leader.
Requirements:
This role will be primarily located at the Houston Garia branch location.
(I 45 & Airtex) Experience keeping accurate inventory of parts and materials.
Valid driver's license clear of any violations.
Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.
Willingness and ability to work closely with others.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Adaptable to work, environment and process changes.
Must follow and adhere to all Club Car Policies and Procedures.
Previous warehouse operations knowledge and experience repairing golf cars and electric LSV vehicles is preferred.
Qualifications:
Must pass background screening and motor vehicle record checks.
High School Diploma/Equivalent Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds waist high with frequent lifting, twisting, bending, squatting and turning.
Job Duties:
Meet with Operations Leader/Coordinator and others as required to schedule and coordinate work activities.
Obtain certification and operation of forklift in a warehouse setting.
Maintain accurate inventory of all parts and tools.
Shipping and receiving of parts and materials, ensuring orders are pulled with accuracy and shipped per dealer's purchase order.
(Part numbers, quantities, shipping address, etc.
) Handle all paperwork or electronic documents related to the job including but not limited to parts orders and warranty claims.
Assist with Clean & Charge finished products prior to transport pickup.
Other Duties as assigned.
