Materials Coordinator/Applications Specialist needed! Must have experience with Bills of Materials (BOM's).
AutoCAD a plus!SummaryPrepare bills of materials (BOMs) and labor routers for production and entering these in an MRP system.
Work in conjunction with production to manufacture printed products that are both cost-effective and of excellent quality.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare simulated costs and value engineering cost reductions in JDE as required.
Setup bill of materials and routing instructions for product manufacturing.
Establish part numbers and edit existing bill of materials and routers.
Setup digital printing standards for new digital presses and best practice applications.
Implements engineering change requests for the printed product segment as required.
Performs first article inspection from a quality and correctness standpoint per its intended application.
Create layouts for proofing of product applicability in support of product installation.
Review existing production designs and offer suggestions that would result in cost reductions and improved manufacturing processes.
Screen, Digital Printing, AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Education and ExperienceOne-year certificate from college or technical school; 3 years' experience in MRP data entry and product estimating; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Clear understanding of MRP systems and estimating practices in a manufacturing environment.
Must have experience with BOM's and/or Labor/Job Routers.
