IT Policy Manager

POSITION
Summary:
As an IT Generalist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support of COIT's vast IT infrastructure.
You will be working with a cadre of Vendors who manage different aspects of COIT's IT.
You will be monitoring system performance at each of the ten company owned divisions as well as consulting with franchise locations.
You will be able to step in and fix minor problems or know who to call to deal with more complicated issues.
You will also be the chief administrator for the business side of the department working with Purchasing and Accounting for reporting purposes.
Essential Functions:
Manage the relationship between COIT and our Microsoft Solutions Provider vendor.
Make sure that all systems are secure and routinely updated.
Manage the relationship between COIT and its various Telecommunication vendors.
Oversee the purchasing of IT related equipment making sure the best value is obtained.
Maximizes use of hardware and software by training users, interpreting instructions, and answering questions.
Evaluates system potential by testing compatibility of new programs with existing programs.
Improves existing programs by reviewing objectives and specifications, evaluating proposed changes, recommending changes, and making modifications.
Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
Reporting network operational status including system updates and backups to make sure automated tasks are being completed successfully, prioritizing information, and managing projects.
Follows established policies.
Resolves customer concerns to satisfaction of company and customer.
Assists with training of new or existing personnel.
Maintains an acceptable driving record.
Provides proof of insurance to cover operating own vehicle on company business.
Meets corporate standards for attendance and timeliness.
OTHER DUTIES:
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations Attends Corporate and department meetings as required.
Travel to divisional and franchise locations on an as needed basis.
Averaging two to four trips a year for less than a week at a time.
Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintains effective working relationships and acts in a manner most beneficial to the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
Four-year degree or equivalent IT management experience.
Industry knowledge of current hardware and software.
Presentation skills.
Server Management skills.
Clean driving record.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
