Summary:
The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, be a strong business development executive with demonstrated skills in developing a holistic view of each client opportunity and executing new business strategies.
Must be a subject matter expert finding and validating new business opportunities and developing a compelling business case for them.
This position requires an innovative mind-set and a strong desire to deliver profitable new business opportunities.
To excel in this role, you must be able to lead and support a sales team by setting target and delivering results.
Location Ideally located in our head office in Houston, TX, but will consider candidates that want to work from our Terminal locations of Victoria, TX, Odessa TX or Fort Lupton, CO Primary Responsibilities and Scope:

Set sales goals, develop forecasts, maintain pipeline, track opportunities, and report regularly on progress to executive leadership
Define and create a business plan to generate more ratable sales within business portfolios that addresses market volatility
Identify, develop, and lead new business development, overseeing all new business account contact and preliminary sales activity
Align audience targeting, campaign optimization and analytic solutions to the needs of the business
Update CRM management information dynamically and document sales activity, transactions, account, client information and revenue opportunities as required
Develop Inside Sales team to transition new business as well as grow existing accounts in support of growth strategies
Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets; maximize profitability and new business financial performance
Develop new go to business strategies and products to enhance volumes and profitability.

Collaborate with sales team on account bids, RFPs and contract quotations and ensure that all requirements can be met along with providing costs and building out response.

Develop strong partnerships with supporting teams to fully understand business processes to improve alignment with supply and trading operations.

Analyze portfolio and develop creative solutions to improve customer ratability and retention.

Assume responsibility for structuring and executing major operational and strategic initiatives while developing work plans, gathering, and synthesizing relevant data, leading analysis, and developing final recommendations.

Assist in the development of supply/logistics/operational plans and ensure readiness to meet customer and business demands.
Required
Experience:

years proven experience in sales, a data driven marketing or technical/analytic environment
Demonstrated mastery of and passion for the art of selling, a love of data and an understanding of how to utilize the power of analytics to support customer goals
Must demonstrate solid listening skills and a consultative sales approach, with proven ability to identify and build relationships
Demonstrated ability to develop and expand client relationships and have a proven record of exceeding revenue goals
Working knowledge of marketing analytics and reading model gains charts a plus
Experience using a CRM database or similar software applications
Outstanding writing and presentation skills, with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Required Education & Certification:
Bachelors Degree in a related field.
