Security Officer As Security, you are the first line of defense for our client.
We ask that you make it a priority to provide a safe and enjoyable environment.
Security Office Job Responsibilities ID Checks Screening patrons (weapons/illegal substances) Monitor patrons Report incidents identifying who, what, why, when and how.
These reports should be emailed to at the end of the shift.
Report all use of force actions through OL Security management.
Monitor premises with walk throughs, make your presence known, check restroom and outdoor exit areas and any areas of concealment.
Monitor parking lot from the main door or the immediate area of our facility.
Make sure no guests are smoking in non-designated areas.
Contribute to the team effort.
Monitor coworker activity for safety and provide assistance as needed.
The expected work hours are as scheduled, typically between the hours of 5 pm until 3am Thursday through Saturday and 5pm until 1 am Sunday through Wednesday.
Security Officer Qualifications and Skills Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Basic computer skills Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Able to be a part of the team Education and Experience Requirements Texas Online Private Security (TOPS) - Level III Commissioned Officer with Guard Card in hand.
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in the field of security CPR/first Aid certified Continuing educating/training in the field of security completed annually Recommended Skills Cpr Communication First Aid And Preparedness Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
