Oil Refinery Senior Team Leader
Location Beaumont, TX No Remote We are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer or Petroleum Engineer with technical expertise in the downstream Oil and Petroleum Refining industry.
As the Senior Team Leader , you will effectively run your own business with the backing of a multi-billion-dollar global corporation! Working out of your home office, you will lead an onsite team of skilled problem-solvers and petroleum chemistry experts to drive daily downstream refinery process improvements, enhance quality and efficiency, and continually reduce the total cost of operations for a large fuels refinery near Beaumont, TX.
This position is a HIGH VISIBILITY process engineering and technical sales role that includes daily interface with Operations, Engineering, and Senior Plant Management.
Strong competitive drive, consultative problem-solving, and effective team leadership skills are essential.

in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, or Technical degree 10-15
years of Engineering, Operations, or Technical Sales experience in a downstream Oil, Gas, or Fuels Refinery 3
years of Supervisory, Managerial, or Team Leadership experience Strong technical knowledge of daily troubleshooting and process optimization experience with key refinery unit operations such as distillation, reformer, desalter, cracker, visbreaker, alkylation, coker, hydrotreaters, and other related systems Exposure to or applications knowledge with fuel or lubricant additive components such as corrosion inhibitors, viscosity modifiers, sulfide scavengers, lubricity improvers, friction modifiers, cetane improvers, biocides, etc.
is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and process problem solving skills Well-developed relationship management and negotiation skills Detail oriented with advanced data analysis abilities Entrepreneurial drive and passion to succeed Clear track record of high achievement Excellent oral and written communication skills Valid drivers license with good driving record Our client is profitable, supports promotion from within, and offers a wide range of career options on a global basis.
