The goal of a Syndigo Support Engineer is to provide efficient and effective first-line technical support to our internal users.
A successful Syndigo Support Engineer will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of IT systems, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
This opportunity is based in Houston, Texas.
HOW WE'LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for end-users.
Escalate complex technical problems to the Tier 2 support team when necessary.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Assist with user onboarding and offboarding procedures, including setting up user accounts and permissions.
Provide guidance and training to users on basic IT procedures and best practices.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and system backups.
Document support activities, solutions, and common issues in the knowledge base.
WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU Proven experience in providing technical support to end-users.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common productivity applications.
Basic understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications (e.
g.
, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) would be a plus.
