com Job Summary The Intern will closely work with all areas of the Financial & Closing organization as well as key internal customers such as Controllership, Treasury Tax Operation, SCM, E&BS and Projects.
He/she is responsible for general accounting requests, performs and reports on account reconciliations, ensures proper and accurate accounting and supports internal & external audits, facilitates & coordinates month end closing process.
How You Can Be the Impact Perform clearing cash and other accounts, equity entries, cross charge process.
Perform Revenue Recognition Accounting Perform Reconciliation of set of balance sheet accounts.
Maintain Governance on journal entries operate master data governance tool, interact with various finance users.
Analysis of various financial data to determine journal entry.
Adhoc Projects:
Automation & Standardize the process, GRC, participate in cross functional testing, and other projects.
Facilitate and coordinate month end closing process and other team activities.
What Matters to SABIC Pursuing a Business Degree in Finance or Accounting with a 3.

Clear understanding of accounting principles.
Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, prioritization and critical thinking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and meet aggressive deadlines.
Ability to work independently - self-motivated with strong influencing and communications skills; high initiative.
Strong MS Office and Excel Proficiency.
