Lead Maintenance
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Maintenance to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the effective upkeep of our facilities.
The Lead Maintenance will be responsible for coordinating and executing maintenance tasks, managing repairs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and visitors.
This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
Manage and prioritize work orders, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Perform routine inspections of our facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Oversee and assist in the repair and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment inventory.
Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related issues and support organizational goals.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a technical field is a plus.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, manuals, and schematic diagrams.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
Additional technical certifications or training.
