Position
Summary:
The Sr.
Solution Architect is responsible for developing architectural designs for integrated systems within the enterprise warehouse and distribution area and corresponding set of applications.
In this role the Sr.
Solution Architect will partner with Business Analysts and Technical Analysts to understand the overall business need, define overarching requirements and create high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms and develop an overarching architectural design and model that will support Strykers business needs.
The Lead Solution Architect is responsible for verifying the detailed technical documents, validating the configuration within the assigned applications, and ensuring solutions are delivered based on the architected design.
Essential duties &
Responsibilities:
(detailed description) Responsible for the overall systems architecture, Technical and functional design in the area of Enterprise Warehouse Management and Distribution and Logistics to manage design and deploy integrated end-to-end solutions.
Serves as the domain expert in providing application process analysis, architecture and system design, systems development, testing, implementation, training and preparation of our Stryker global template in the warehouse and distribution area.
Perform activities following Strykers Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.
Play a significant role within the Architecture Review Board, in not only defining application standards, but also driving the final decision on solution.
Accountable for the Solution Review Board activities driving architecture decisions, technical approvals across the application area, and alignment of scope against Run team minor releases.
Lead solution development and implementation for new systems and enhancements and participate in defining technical standards for the specialty area.
Produce or review detailed technical and functional documents, configure and/or develop within the assigned applications and understand the overall design and architecture of an SAP platform and deliver the end to end technical solution.
Play a key role in transitioning the knowledge of the new/enhanced capabilities (including technical aspects) to the Service Delivery Team(s).
Responsible for all technical design, prototypes/mock-ups, development, testing and delivery of solutions for release cycles and/or new projects within the Enterprise Warehouse Management space.
Driving vendor engagement and accountability to deliver as per program KPI and SLA.
Review and Govern business process documents, application and technical specifications, test plans and cutover plans for go-live sites.
Manages resolution and communication of system production support issues with different stakeholders based on Stryker SLAs.
Works closely with strategic solution partners, business process owners, architects/leads from other tracks and super users to close out every phase as part of deployment playbook or project methodology.
Proactively identify business and system improvements, make recommendations, take ownership and bring those initiatives to successful implementation in warehouse and distribution area.
Collaborate with other Global ERP Program teams, IT Business Partners, Build and Run teams, various Infrastructure teams, and Business Deployment teams.
Manage a team of End-to-End architects leading and facilitating cross-platform workshops, setting direction for technical and configuration solutions, and meeting project schedules and milestones.
Provide guidance and mentoring to other Solution Architects, Solution Leads and Solution Analysts within the team or same project/program.
Partner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and translating into solutions within an application and/or application stack Provide guidance and mentoring to other Solution Leads and Solution Analysts within the team or same project/program.
Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance and technical efficiencies.
Be able to support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processes Responsible for choosing the right technology platform for implementing an architected solution.
Manages and coordinates with external suppliers and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted deliverables, agreed upon timelines, and metrics Hands-on experience across several disciplines.
Serves as domain expert in all aspects of architecting, designing and application development.
Formulates deployment strategies to ensure reliability and scalability for Stryker systems.
Assesses technological risks that could jeopardize the growth and/or operations of the organization; makes recommendations on applications retirement.
Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level specialist.
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the systems development concepts, practices, and procedures.
Writes specifications, develops architectural concepts and artifacts.
Develop and build robust integration with Infrastructure, Security, Governance, Service Delivery, etc.
Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables.
Special projects/assignments as required.
Education & special trainings:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.
Masters degree in MIS, MBA or related disciplines preferred.
Qualifications &
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience SAP full life-cycle implementations and demonstrated project implementation experience is required Minimum of 5 years of SAP project implementation experience in SAP EWM or SAP WM/IM area and integration with other process areas is required.
Deep understanding of systems, configuration and business processes within SAP Supply Chain and Logistics Execution modules (EWM/IM/MM) and other SAP cross functional experience in Procurement, TM, QM, GTS and SD is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
Strong Integration experience SAP with non-SAP external systems (Shipping Application, 3PL, warehouse Automation solution etc.
) is required.
In depth understanding of the SAP Applicatio Recommended Skills Analytical Architecture Automation Business Processes Business Requirements Coaching And Mentoring Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
