No experience needed! Apply now! Essential Functions Assists in specimen collection and other activities of assigned patients.
Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
Prepares patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures according to departmental procedures.
Performs pre-census and validates daily admission, discharge, and census lists, on an as-needed basis.
Observes and report all patient concerns/changes in condition to a registered nurse immediately.
Demonstrates flexibility, organization, and multitasking.
Able to function under stressful situations.
Answers telephone, intercom, and call lights politely using appropriate telephone etiquette and communicates information to the right staff/family/patient.
Aid with movement and placement of patients.
Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
Serves as liaison between patient care units and all other patient-related departments.
Qualifications Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
