The Revenue Regulatory Reporting Analyst will have solid accounting and business acumen along with strong work ethic.
This role requires collaboration with individuals in various teams thus requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Viable candidates will need to be a self-starter who can work independently and take initiative along with coming up with suggested solutions on challenging situations.
Responsibilities Reconciliation of G/L accounts related to General Land Office (GLO) and ONRRmonthly Filing monthly royalty returns associated with associated agency Maintaining current set ups in SAP PRA system Research and respond to audits and document requests from regulatory agencies Stay current with federal and state regulations and initiatives and communicate changes as needed Record and monitor prior period adjustments monthly or as needed Provide support for the revenue accruals process Maintain organized files with supporting documentation of work performed for all functions Provide support for special projects and perform other duties as assigned Ability to meet all obligated deadlines related to the various state agency filing requirements Communicate timely on any pending situations that require follow-up actions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Accredited Petroleum Accountant, or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas revenue accounting with an E&P Prior working experience with the Texas Railroad Commission SAP and SAP PRA experience would be beneficial Ability to communicate well and establish effective working relationships with others Strong communication skills with all levels of Management Ability to multi-task several assignments simultaneously and establish priorities Initiative to consistently meet deadlines.
